Game Of Thrones rant (with spoilers! So you've been warned)
I started reading the GOT books before I knew they were not a completed series. That's the last time I ever do that, but what is done is done. (And I guess, what's not done is still not done) But after I finished the books (which I read one after the other with all the spare time I had on busses, on lunch breaks, as I was making dinner so some things got over-cooked. and before bed.) When the books ended my imagination took over and I had all kinds of sub-plots going for Bran, Arya, Jon and Daenerys. (Not Sansa, because I could not have given a fuck about Sansa.)
So, now the TV show has overtaken the book. There are still some scenes that are hold overs, like Arya being blind and ...maybe that's it. But they had so many possibilities.
Now, The Red Woman brings Jon back from the dead. Just like that. It's as if the writers of these new seasons have not even read the books this show is based on. THE most obvious way Jon comes back is via warging into ghost. How he comes back into his dead body could be where The Red Woman comes in to play. Or, the actor that plays Jon gets to go do a play or star in a teen heartthrob movie, and Jon Snow stays in ghost, but not for long. The writers even (perhaps unwittingly) set up the way for this to be done.
When Tyrion meets with the dragons he talks about how intelligent they are. Smarter than many humans, or something like that. See, those of us who read the books know that there is a danger in a Warg being killed while they are inside an animal they are possessing. They will eventually become the dumb animal and lose their humanity. Well...how about this for a plot? Jon Snow goes into Ghost for a time, but right before it's too late for him he manages to get into the head of one of the three dragons. Now, Jon Snow the character is a dragon...maybe he can even talk.
Also, Arya is a Warg as well. We know this because in the book she figures out how to defend herself when she's blind. While she miraculously accomplishes this feat, Martin decided to put a mysterious cat in the room with her. I don't know how she manages to Warg into the cat and defend herself, but maybe there is a halfway step where she can see through the animals eyes without really controlling it. Maybe this is a special Warg-like ability we don't know about yet.
They still have time to fix this. Jon maybe alive in body only and not in mind. He may still be in Ghost and watching this whole thing happening to his body, he may decide to enter back into his now reanimated body to finish some things. But that may be only temporary.
God I wish those guys would just give me a call.
